This is pretty unreal. Slightly terrifying, but at the same time, I couldn’t look away. If any of you know anything about this clip, please let me know!
Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!
Our favorite vocaloid robot, Hatsune Miku, makes an appearance in this short music video. In the original description from the creator on Niko Niko Douga they sat that “It may sound like Miku is not singing, but she is actually singing nya nya from the beginning to the end.” It may just be me, but I don’t hear it.
Should I know who that character is? I feel like I’ll get some hate mail for not, but in this version ‘nya’ has been changed to ‘myon’ and features a cute dancing cat-girl.
Animated Edano Press Conference
Yukio Edano has done more press conferences over the past month than he most likely had done in his entire career up to that point. In this animated short, sounds bites from his televised appearances are mixed and set to this simple animation. He comes out, says, “um… er… ahem…” a few times then announces that he has nothing to say and then leaves. Both on his entering and exit you can see the mandatory bow he makes to the podium and Japanese flag that would be off stage. I think I speak for us all in looking forward to the day when Edano no longer has anything else to report.
Sky High Access
Here’s a video that uses footage of various trains and stations in and around Tokyo cut with train announcements mixed with what I believe to be two tracks from the Kirby video game franchise. I’m certain about the second song, but not 100% on the first. If anyone out there recognizes the track, please be sure to let me know.
