This is a really old meme, but one I thought I’d throw up on the site because it’s timeless.
For those of you who grew up playing Golden Eye for the Nintendo 64, you might remember this bug in the game that could be triggered by jiggling the cartridge of the running game at just the right moment. The characters on screen would appear to spin out of control and the visuals would go crazy. Set the gameplay footage to a J-Pop song called “Promise” from 1997, and you’ve got a meme.
