Bad Communication

We just got back from a weekend long snowboarding trip to Daisen in Tottori Prefecture.  The weather wasn’t great, but we had a good time and were able to film what might barely pass as a show.  Until then, here’s the ‘bite size’ version of episode 30!  A few days behind schedule but well worth the wait!

Juggling a chatroom, a live USTREAM feed, pre-coffee early morning fatigue and winter induced sickness, the boys of Bad Communication power through this new episode at a new time!  We jam a ton of stories into this week’s show talking about Apple saving the Japanese economy, creepy robot baby heads, a robot priest, gummy sushi, the end of a 1,400 year old business, some pics Andrew shot of a very snowy Osaka, Yahoo! selling its share of it’s Japan counterpart, plans for a maglev train from Tokyo to Osaka, a taxi-themed top 10, an upcoming robot marathon and a ski trip Andrew and I are taking this weekend!  Crazy!

We look good in HD!  From around 30 minutes to 10, we’ve cut out all the fat and left you with only the prime bits of this week’s Bad Communication.  Don’t get too attached to this bite size episode because we’ve got another one coming out in only a few days.  See you then!

On this week’s live show, we read some fan mail, talk about the recent sumo scandal, learn more about the ‘kamitsukizaru’, meet the Japanese Johnny Cochran, dash our Hollywood movie fantasies, revisit the James Bond franchise, talk about the Tokyo governor opinion reversal and give you a top 10 worst women to have at a dating party.  With lots of crazy antics going on in the chat room all the while, this week’s show was definitely… special.

We return to normality with a guest free show this week, but a monkey wrench is thrown into the works when Andrew loses his Internet connection halfway through filming all with a live chat room watching our every move.  Will the two dashing young heroes be able to talk about a lack of sexual appetite in Japan, two feral cats with steely expressions, the generous “tiger mask” and the future of air transit in 2025?  Tune in and find out!
